Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services intends to award a single-source contract to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) for Application Server Software. This procurement covers annual software maintenance, technical support services, software updates, and training for ESRI products, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcGIS Online. These services are critical for ensuring the continued operability, compatibility, cybersecurity patching, and reliability of the department's existing GIS infrastructure, which supports various statutory responsibilities across multiple divisions. ESRI is the sole manufacturer of the ArcGIS software platform and holds exclusive proprietary rights to its source code, maintenance, support, and upgrades. As ESRI does not authorize resellers or third-party vendors to provide these services, ESRI is the only available source for the required maintenance and support for the department's current ESRI licensed software environment. The approximate contract amount is $131,775, with a potential total up to $400,000.
