Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Animal Industry, intends to procure contracted services for equipment maintenance from Life Technologies Corporation. This single-source purchase includes maintenance, support, miscellaneous repairs, parts, supplies, software, software licenses, training, and hardware support for Life Technologies Corporation equipment. The equipment is used in the division's laboratories to carry out its statutory duties and includes molecular and aqua culture supplies, Trich, Reagents Testing Kits, ZIKA virus PCR Reagents, and CSF-FMD Reagents and other PCR kits. Life Technologies Corporation is the only known source with the technical knowledge for the required maintenance and repairs, and is also the exclusive provider for reagents and supplies used for PCR Reagent test kits. The approximate contract amount is up to $100,000.00, with an estimated amount of $57,776.06. The contract term is from the date of execution through June 30, 2026.
