Description
Leon County, Florida is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified firms to provide geotechnical services on an as-needed basis. Services include field sampling and testing, laboratory testing, engineering evaluation, and design of road base and subgrade improvements, embankment stabilization, erosion control, and sediment removal. The County intends to enter into agreements with multiple firms, with work distributed at the sole discretion of the Public Works Division of Engineering Services. The contract period is three years with two optional one-year renewals, for a possible total of five years. All professional services must be performed by professionals licensed in Florida and in compliance with the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act.
