The Washington State Patrol is soliciting bids for six custom-built 2027 BMW R1300RT-P Police Pursuit Motorcycles. The motorcycles must meet the specified BMW configuration, including Night Black and Alpine White colors, heated rider seats, tire-pressure control, dynamic cruise control, weather-protection fairing elements, automated shift assistant, Riding Modes Pro, LED auxiliary driving lights, an extra ignition key, saddlebag liners, engine protection, a battery charger, and the specified emergency signaling and lighting package. No product substitutions or alternative manufacturers will be accepted. The awarded vendor must install mounting hardware and connectors for agency-supplied equipment, including a Lidar holster adapter plate, MPH Bee III radar antennas, radio power ports, and a side-stand extension. Installation within Washington is preferred. Completed motorcycles must be delivered to the Washington State Patrol Fleet section no later than June 30, 2027. The contract may remain valid for up to 60 months, with future purchases possible, although no minimum purchase is guaranteed.
