Description
The Washington State Investment Board is seeking firms to actively manage broad, long-only global equity strategies for its Commingled Trust Fund. Strategies should be capable of managing portfolios against a broad benchmark such as the MSCI All Country World IMI Index, maintain daily liquidity without lock-ups or gates, and meet the WSIB's fiduciary, regulatory, operational, reporting, information-security, and contractual requirements. Candidates must be SEC-registered investment advisers or exempt from registration, be GIPS compliant or commit to becoming compliant within twelve months of contract signature, maintain adequate fiduciary insurance including Errors and Omissions/Professional Liability Insurance, and provide appropriate independent controls examinations or equivalent operational controls. Interested firms must list the strategy in the eVestment database. Firms may request introductory meetings by email, including a proposed date and time, agenda, sample strategy presentation, and attendee biographies; final presentation materials must be received at least two full business days before the meeting. The WSIB may conduct continuing screening, due diligence, interviews, presentations, and site visits, and may select one or more strategies or none.
