Description
Pierce Transit seeks a contractor to provide in-person standardized cognitive and functional assessments, bus travel skills training, and recommendations, reports, and findings to support ADA paratransit eligibility determinations. The contractor will collaborate on testing materials and conduct assessments using the Functional Assessment of Cognitive Travel Skills (FACTS) and Cognitive Assessment of Travel Skills (CATS) models. Work is on an as-needed basis at locations throughout the service area. Additional duties include weekly evaluations, assessment scheduling, backup travel training, following fixed-route bus trips, and backup mobility-device assessments. Interviews and documentation reviews may also be used as evaluation methods.
