Description
The City of Lacey is seeking a qualified consultant to provide design and construction services for replacement of Wastewater Lift Station 24, including a new or relocated wet well, Septic Tank Effluent Pumping equipment, valve vault, controls, site piping, bypass pumping, and related site improvements. Existing components, including the generator and transfer switch, may be evaluated for salvage and reuse. The project is intended to increase operational storage and pumping capacity. The scope includes site investigation and data review; permitting and environmental assistance; preparation of design plans, specifications, and an engineer’s estimate; internal reviews at the 30%, 60%, 90%, and bid-ready stages; bid-phase assistance; and construction-phase services such as submittal and RFI reviews, electrical reviews, construction inspection or observation, and attendance at lift-station startup. The consultant must submit a statement of qualifications limited to seven pages, plus a signed cover letter of no more than one page, addressing company experience, five comparable projects with references, key personnel, availability, approach and schedule, project understanding, and quality-control procedures.
