Description
The City of Hamilton is soliciting a contractor to perform preventative maintenance and repairs at the George McDulin Memorial Garage. The scope includes concrete repairs to slabs, beams, columns, vertical and overhead surfaces; masonry block replacement and tuckpointing; supplemental steel plates and connections; construction, cove, and crack sealants; existing and new compressible expansion joint repairs; and supplemental floor drain and piping installation. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic control, barriers, temporary protection, shoring, safety measures, inspections, testing, and coordination required for the work. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements. Base-bid unit-price quantities are specified for the repair items, and a $10,000 cash allowance is included for time-and-material work. Substantial completion is required within 70 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, with final completion within 98 calendar days; the contractor must mobilize within 14 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed or executed contract.
