Description
Weslaco Independent School District is soliciting qualification statements from design-build firms for district-wide HVAC improvements. The scope includes facility surveys; project development; engineering and design; construction and project management; commissioning and retro-commissioning; training; and resolution of unforeseen circumstances. Respondents must describe their team, key personnel, lead engineer or architect and licenses, organizational structure, subcontractors, HVAC design and design-build experience, project methodology, financial strength, and capacity. The solicitation requires five similar HVAC design-build projects completed within the last five years and at least five design-build references. The procurement uses a two-phase selection process. In Phase I, the School Board may select up to five vendors, and only selected vendors may participate in Phase II. Required response materials include a cover letter, company and team qualifications, HVAC experience, project list, references, methodology, financial statement, and completed felony conviction, confidential disclosure, and non-collusion forms, along with required electronic bid attributes and acknowledgments.
