Description
Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide one-time forensic financial audit services. The engagement will examine selected financial activities from fiscal year 2021 through the most recent completed fiscal year, including fund-balance activity, financial transactions, expenditures, revenues, internal controls, accounting records, supporting documentation, and related financial activity. The selected firm will evaluate whether transactions were properly authorized, recorded, and supported; identify significant trends, discrepancies, or areas requiring further review; present preliminary findings; keep the District apprised of progress; and deliver a final report. Respondents must provide qualifications, relevant experience, personnel information, references, proposed services, financial statements, professional-license documentation, insurance evidence, and required District forms through the electronic bidding system. The contract service period is expressly one-time.
