Description
Columbia County is requesting sealed bids for generator service at multiple county locations. The work includes scheduled Level 1 and Level 2 inspections, oil and filter changes, coolant and fuel sampling, laboratory analysis, comprehensive inspection reports, corrective-action recommendations, annual two-hour load-bank testing, and fuel testing for specified generator units. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, fuel, supervision, permits, disposal, and related costs. The solicitation also requests pricing for emergency generator service and standard, overtime, weekend, holiday, trip, mileage, and parts-discount rates. Work includes coordinating portable generator setup and electrical connections for load banking where specified, complying with facility access and safety requirements, providing advance notice before onsite work, and conducting background checks for personnel accessing county facilities. Bidders must submit the county bid form, similar project experience with contact references, and a work-completion timeline. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is required, and three copies of the bid must be submitted by the deadline.
