Description
Fayette County Public Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide repair, preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and related services for District-owned and District-operated vehicles, excluding school buses. The fleet may include passenger vehicles, vans, pickup trucks, utility vehicles, trucks, and box trucks, including Ford, Dodge/Ram, Toyota, Chevrolet, Kenworth, and International vehicles. The scope may include mechanical, electrical, electronic, HVAC, brake, steering, suspension, engine, transmission, exhaust, emissions, drivetrain, tire, glass, interior, exterior, body, painting, and refinishing work. Contractors must maintain a service location within 30 miles of Fayette County, provide an initial diagnosis or repair assessment within two business days of receiving a vehicle, obtain authorization before performing work, provide itemized estimates and service documentation, and supply new parts meeting OEM specifications unless otherwise approved. The contract term is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals. The District may award to multiple contractors and does not guarantee a minimum quantity, dollar value, or frequency of work.
