PWP-LA-2026-518 NOTICE - REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS - PWP-LA-2026-518 For LANDER COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (OWNER): Sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be received by the LANDER COUNTY Clerk, located at 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820, from qualified General Contractors interested in providing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) preconstruction and construction services for the LANDER COUNTY EVENT CENTER -PHASE II. SOQS will be received on or before 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, September 24, 2026, at the LANDER COUNTY Clerk's Office located at 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820. SOQS received after the established deadline will not be considered. The estimated construction cost for the LANDER COUNTY EVENT CENTER-PHASE Il is Thirty-Two Million Dollars ($32,000,000.00). The principal items of work for the LANDER COUNTY EVENT CENTER-PHASE II will consist of final site grading, installation and coordination of underground utilities; construction of foundations, structural piers, concrete slabs and associated flatwork; structural framing and building erection; installation of the building envelope and roofing systems; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communications, and related building sys- tems; site improvements; and all associated materials, equipment, appurtenances, and incidental work necessary to complete the vertical construction of the Lander County Event Center in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and Contract Documents. The selected General Contractor will provide preconstruction services including, without limitation, review of the construction documents, participation in discipline-specific work- shops, construction sequencing, cost estimating, scheduling, planning coordination and risk identification for the purposes of developing a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) agreement. Upon approval of the GMP and execution of the applicable Construction Services Agreement, the selected General Contractor will provide construction manage- ment and construction services necessary to complete the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents. The anticipated project schedule is as follows: SOQ Due:September 24th, 2026Finalist Interviews: September 28th – October 9 th, 2026 Preconstruction Award:October 14th, 2026Preconstruction Phase: GMP Award October 15th, 2026, through December 9th, 2026. December 10, 2026 Construction Phase: January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027 To assure consideration, all SOQS shall be prepared and submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Qualifications. The completed SOQ shall be en- closed and sealed in an envelope addressed to LANDER COUNTY CLERK, 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820, and clearly marked "LANDER COUNTY EVENT CENTER-PHASE II - CMAR RFQ-PWP-LA-2026-518." Faxed or electron- ically submitted SOQs will not be accepted. Partial submittals will not be accepted or considered. The final ranking shall constitute a separate evaluation from the initial proposal ranking, and scores assigned during the initial evaluation shall not be carried forward. The final ranking shall be based only upon information submitted during the interview process, including the CMAR Fee Proposal and other information required as part of the finalist interview process, in accordance with NRS 338.1693(7). The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications, to waive minor irregularities or informalities to the extent permitted by law, and to cancel or modify the solicitation when determined to be in the best interest of the OWNER.
