Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide testing, analysis, and certification of fire suppression systems at Building 10707, the Hydrazine Fuel Storage and Servicing Facility, and Buildings 10432 and 10440, F-35 Munitions Facilities, at Nellis Air Force Base. The scope includes document review; preliminary testing of underground water mains, aboveground piping, and system components in accordance with NFPA 13 and NFPA 24; final acceptance testing; demonstrations of system operation; and a formal Letter of Compliance/Certification signed and sealed by a licensed Fire Protection Engineer. The contractor must provide all management, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision required for performance. The contractor must submit preliminary-test procedures and final-test procedures and scheduling notifications 14 days before the applicable tests, provide three copies of the completed Preliminary Test Report within seven days after testing, and coordinate access and safety requirements for controlled facilities. The project period of performance is stated as September 22 through November 21, 2026 in the notice; the solicitation schedule states September 22 through November 20, 2026. The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 541330, Engineering Services, and award will be based on lowest evaluated price among technically acceptable offers with acceptable past performance.
