Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Parker Dam Office, is soliciting quotes for eight new, non-remanufactured electric on/off valve actuators with remote-control boxes for a 12-inch butterfly-valve bypass system at Hoover Dam. The actuators must be compatible with a 12-inch A-T Controls Power-Seal HP 300# lug butterfly valve, support remote operation while retaining manual operation, have a dust-tight and waterproof enclosure suitable for immersion to at least 20 feet for no less than 30 minutes, handle up to 17,500 inch-pounds of torque, and use 480 VAC three-phase motor power with 110 VAC single-phase controls. The actuators and all assembly components must comply with the Buy American Act. The purchase is for a single firm-fixed-price supply contract. Delivery is required 45 days after receipt of order, and installation conduit will be supplied by Hoover Dam staff. Quotes must include the completed SF 1449, pricing schedule, Buy American Certificate, technical capability information addressing the salient characteristics, and manufacturer catalog literature or a specification sheet. The amendment must also be acknowledged with the offer.
