Description
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is soliciting bids for fabrication of dual-directional bus shelters, removal of existing shelter units, construction of new concrete bus shelter pads, and installation of dual-directional and general-market shelters on existing and newly constructed pads throughout the Las Vegas Valley. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, management, supervision, overhead, profit, taxes, permitting, and related services required by the contract documents. The project is federally funded and requires submission of federal certifications and DBE/SBE participation forms. The bid package also requires a bid proposal information form, bid bond, subcontractor listings, disclosure of ownership form, organizational conflict-of-interest statement, schedule of values, completed-project information, and a bidder business license. A nonresponsive-bid risk applies to omitted addenda acknowledgments and incomplete NGEM bid-line entries. Performance and payment bonds are required after award and before issuance of the notice to proceed; insurance documentation is addressed separately and is generally due after selection.
