Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is requesting quotations for multiple awards, priced by line item, for Fiscal Year 2027 first-quarter subsistence requirements at FCI Schuylkill. The 62-page requirements worksheet lists assorted institutional food products, including dry beans, rice, pasta, cereals, condiments, canned and frozen vegetables and fruit, spices, dairy products, bread, eggs, beef, chicken, turkey, fish, cheese, and other prepared foods. Quantities range from individual packages and cases to tens of thousands of pounds or units. Products must meet the stated USDA, FDA, FSIS, Federal Commodity Item Description, National Menu Specification, packaging, labeling, allergen, and country-of-origin requirements; substitutions are not accepted. Delivery is required by October 16, 2026, with deliveries accepted between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Products must be palletized, properly marked, and maintained at specified temperatures for perishable, shelf-stable, and frozen items. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside, and award decisions will consider price and a go/no-go past-performance evaluation covering delivery timeliness and order accuracy/completeness. Multiple firm-fixed-price purchase orders or government purchase card transactions may be issued depending on award value.
