Description
Earl Township is soliciting a contractor to provide all equipment, labor, and services required for once-weekly collection of residential refuse throughout the township and transport of the collected refuse to Rolling Hills Landfill. The landfill will provide disposal at no charge; the solicitation is for collection and transportation services only. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. Required submission materials include the completed proposal form, qualification questionnaire or statement, bidder’s affidavit, anti-collusion affidavit, public works verification form, workman’s compensation affidavit, CDL compliance certificate, proof of insurance or acknowledgment that required insurance levels can be obtained, bid security, and the required pricing response. A bid bond or certified check/bank draft equal to 10% of the bid is required, and the successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the total three-year contract price within 20 days of notice of award.
