Description
The State of Georgia, through Georgia Correctional Industries, is soliciting electronic bids for confectioner sugar supplied in 2-pound bags, packed 12 bags per case. Products must meet Federal Specification JJJ-S-791 for white, refined, powdered sugar, have a minimum 180-day shelf life, and be certified vegan and kosher. Domino and Big Chief are approved reference products, but approved equivalents may be offered if they meet the stated fit, form, function, and quality requirements. Bidders must identify the manufacturer and model, provide detailed responses to every specification, and avoid shorthand responses such as “Comply,” “Yes,” “OK,” checkmarks, or ditto marks. The bid price must include delivery, freight, tariffs, and all other fees. Bidders must submit current product-label images showing the kosher symbol and matching brand/manufacturer information, current kosher certification, and a nutritional label before initial delivery. Vendors must provide full-case samples at no additional cost upon request. Initial delivery is required within two weeks after receipt of the purchase order, with subsequent delivery dates specified on purchase orders.
