Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a notice of intent for a class justification and approval covering future construction projects where brand-name-or-equal references are needed to communicate interior color, finish, and aesthetic selections. The estimated aggregate value is $230 million for projects executed from Fiscal Year 2027 through Fiscal Year 2029, including Civil Works, Military Construction, and International and Interagency Mission projects. This notice does not concern a single project or request proposals. Future project solicitations may include brand-name-or-equal references for architectural finishes as quality standards, while permitting contractors to propose equivalent products subject to the Contracting Officer's judgment. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement for agency consideration.
