Description
Forestry and Parks is requesting formal written proposals for the onsite renovation and conversion of two dry sleepers at Leismer Fire Base. Each building currently has 12 double-occupancy rooms and must be converted into a wet sleeper with 10 double-occupancy rooms, three bathrooms, and one laundry/janitor room. The work also includes removing existing decks; replacing two rear decks with 6-by-6-foot landings and two sets of 6-foot-wide stairs; and installing two new 8-by-30-foot front decks with stairs. The renovations, delivery, setup, and commissioning must be completed by March 1, 2027. The estimated contract period is four months, with a proposed start date of October 26, 2026.
