Description
Baltimore County is soliciting bids for an on-call, time-and-materials contract to furnish and install waterproofing systems at various County-owned or operated facilities. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, permits, licenses, inspections, debris removal, and related engineering or consulting support. Work includes vertical wall waterproofing and associated surface preparation, membrane installation, sealing, protection, repairs, and compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements. The contract includes regular and overtime labor, materials, rental equipment, dump-truck services, landfill charges, and authorized subcontracting or consulting services. Contractors must respond to routine work requests within 24 hours for quotations and mobilize within 10 calendar days after authorization; emergency work requires a two-hour site response and immediate commencement after approval. The contractor may not subcontract the contracted waterproofing work, except for work outside the contracted trade, engineering consultants, or MBE/WBE participation. The solicitation requires a 25% MBE/WBE participation goal, at least three similar references from the past 18 months, and submission of the listed vendor forms and references.
