Description
The U.S. Government is seeking expressions of interest from property owners or authorized representatives for exactly 18,000 ANSI/BOMA office area/usable square feet of office space in Stafford, Virginia. The offered space must support a fully serviced lease and comply with government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic safety, and sustainability. It may not be located in the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain, and parking must meet local code requirements. The lease has a full term of 10 years and a firm term of five years, with no option term stated. Expressions of interest must provide property and ownership information, building address, available rentable and ABOA square footage by floor, availability date, full-service rental rates and operating costs, scaled as-built floor plans, and any rental concessions. Authorized representatives who are not owners or property managers must include written ownership consent. The current government lease in Stafford is expiring, and alternative space may be considered if economically advantageous.
