Prince William County is soliciting sealed bids for preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and safety servicing of county-owned cardiovascular, strength, and group fitness equipment. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, transportation, materials, and OEM replacement parts, and must be authorized by manufacturers to service commercial-grade equipment. Services include weekly inspections, bi-monthly maintenance at two recreation centers, quarterly maintenance at department gyms and additional locations, emergency and scheduled repairs, equipment relocation, assembly, installation, and reporting. The contractor must be properly licensed or certified for the listed equipment brands, have at least three years of relevant high-volume fitness or recreational facility experience, submit at least three references, assign a primary service technician, respond to inoperable-equipment calls within 24 hours, inspect within 48 hours, and begin authorized repairs within 48 hours of a purchase order. The response package includes the county-provided IFB Submission Form, pricing schedule, proof of required licenses and certifications, experience documentation, and references. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation and employer’s liability, with umbrella/excess coverage required for contracts valued over $500,000.
