Prince William County Government is soliciting firm-fixed-price bids for recurring landscaping, snow removal, anti-icing, and ice removal services at five facilities: the Scenario Based Training Center, Animal Shelter, Crisis Receiving Center, Potomac Library, and Neabsco Parking Garage. Landscaping includes mowing, litter pickup, edging, weeding, weed control, aeration and seeding, pruning, fertilization, mulch, pest control, soil testing, and stormwater management pond maintenance. Snow and ice services include plowing and removal from parking lots, entryways, sidewalks, and pathways; application of County-provided road chemicals; anti-icing; snow hauling and disposal when directed; and provision of labor, supervisors, trucks, snow blowers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, spreaders, and related equipment. Contractors must respond within two hours of a service request, maintain 24/7 communications during activations, attend a preseason snow meeting, provide required operational reports and job tickets, and obtain written permission before subcontracting any portion of the services. The County may make one or multiple awards by site, group of sites, or in the aggregate.
