Prince William County, Virginia is soliciting proposals for a qualified contractor to serve as the Plan Administrator for its Length of Service Award Program for volunteer fire and rescue personnel. The contractor will provide comprehensive plan administration, including participant record maintenance, benefit application processing, calculation and disbursement of monthly pension benefits, and participant communication and support. The scope also includes financial record keeping and accounting, including general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and tax-form issuance. The contractor will attend quarterly Board of Trustees meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, provide required reports, act as a fiduciary, and comply with confidentiality and data-security requirements.
