Description
The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority is seeking a consultant to provide corporate appointment setting and outreach services supporting approximately five domestic business investment marketing trips, as well as ongoing retention-based outreach to Fairfax County companies. The consultant will contact senior corporate executives and decision-makers, schedule geographically compatible appointments, conduct phone and email outreach, maintain a dedicated phone line and email address, and provide appointment and contact data to the authority. The work may involve virtual appointments when physical trips cannot occur and requires experience reaching foreign-owned companies with a presence in the United States. The proposal must include a single PDF containing the technical proposal and cost proposal. The technical response must address insurance compliance, qualifications and experience, key personnel, three references, outreach strategy, a mock introductory email, staff training, and creative outreach approaches. The cost proposal must include estimated hours, total fees, cost breakdown, setup costs, other expenses, and a current annual financial statement. The selected consultant must maintain specified workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile, and professional liability insurance, and must comply with conflict-of-interest restrictions concerning other economic development entities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
