Description
The National Laboratory of the Rockies is soliciting a firm-fixed-price design-build subcontract for new perimeter security fencing along the north boundary of the South Table Mountain Campus. The scope includes design development through 50%, 90%, and 100% issued-for-construction packages; installation of new fencing; removal of designated existing chain-link fencing; utility locating; erosion control; environmental protection; waste tracking; and compliance with applicable codes, design standards, safety requirements, security protocols, and wage determinations. The contractor must provide project management, on-site supervision, quality assurance, required meetings, field observations, testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, and turnover materials. The procurement is a competitive small-business set-aside using lowest-price-technically-acceptable selection, with a stated basic performance period of 360 days beginning upon subcontract execution. Required proposal materials include technical and business proposals, a price proposal, bill of materials, representations and certifications, organizational-conflicts documentation, environmental/safety materials, and specified small-business forms.
