Description
The Oxnard Harbor District is soliciting a contractor to modify approximately 2,130 square feet of existing landscaping for Founder's Plaza at the corner of Hueneme Road and Market Street. The work includes site grading and soil preparation; removal and relocation of existing trees, pavers, signage, vegetation, and a flagpole; concrete paving; porcelain pavers; bollards; concrete statue bases and walls; a bronze inlay letter detail; a custom wood bench; gravel mulch; new trees and plantings; root barriers; subsurface drip irrigation; and related irrigation components. The scope also includes furnishing and installing in-grade, surface-mount, and stake-mount lighting, a power pedestal, pull box, LED drivers, weatherproof enclosures, conduit, wiring, junction boxes, and circuit-breaker connections. Bidders must submit the District's bid forms, bid security, subcontractor designations, certifications, bidder experience information, and other required forms. The project is subject to California public-works requirements, prevailing wages, contractor licensing and Department of Industrial Relations registration, a Community Workforce Agreement, and performance and payment bonds after award.
