Description
The City of Council Bluffs is requesting bids for tree inventory services. The contractor must provide all personnel, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to perform data collection, tree attribution, GPS mapping, safety controls, and software-ready formatting. Field data collectors must be supervised by an active ISA Certified Arborist. The contract will use a fixed price per tree and will run for one year from contract execution, with the City retaining the right to issue supplemental task orders or amendments at the same unit pricing if additional funding becomes available. Work may not begin before November 1, 2026. Bidders must submit proof of active ISA Certified Arborist certification and, when applicable, a bid bond or cashier's check equal to at least 5% of the total bid for bids exceeding $40,000. Required insurance includes general liability, workers' compensation and employer's liability, and commercial automobile coverage.
