Description
The City of Council Bluffs is soliciting bids for lead hazard reduction and healthy homes work at 220 N 8th St. The scope includes interior and exterior paint stabilization, two-coat painting, landscape edging and mulch, lead containment, cleanup and waste removal, and an optional exterior abatement alternate involving back-caulking and aluminum coil stock and soffit panels. The project also includes removing and replacing a water heater and installing a bathroom ventilation fan, along with required electrical, plumbing, HVAC, permits, code compliance, lead-safe work practices, worker licensing and certification, containment, HEPA cleanup, clearance testing, and an abatement report. The general contractor must coordinate the work and submit itemized pricing; separate bid forms are required for the general contractor, plumber, electrician, and HVAC contractor. The mandatory bid walk-through is required, and electronic submission through the IonWave portal is required.
