Description
The Texas Workforce Commission is soliciting bids to replace an outdated indoor walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer at the FAC 919 IRS Building Cafeteria. The work includes removal and environmentally compliant disposal of existing equipment; delivery, installation, and startup of replacement units; associated refrigeration systems, piping, insulation, condensate drains, pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging, commissioning, operational testing, cleanup, and debris removal. Each unit is approximately 8 feet wide by 8 feet long by 8 feet 6 inches high. The cooler must include an insulated floor and carry a minimum two-year warranty; the freezer must meet the stated specifications or an approved equivalent. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision, comply with Travis County prevailing-wage requirements, and be an authorized Texas distributor for parts and ongoing maintenance. Electrical work and roofing modifications are excluded unless approved by the agency.
