Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a contractor to inspect, service, diagnose, and maintain Government-owned commercial refrigeration equipment across 18 dining facilities in the GGTC/LDC area. The estimated workload includes approximately 36 commercial refrigerators, 24 commercial freezers, four walk-in refrigerators or coolers, and four walk-in freezers, for approximately 68 assets. Services include operational inspections, temperature verification, cleaning, adjustments, component checks, leak inspection, preventive maintenance, condition assessment, and documentation. The contractor must provide qualified commercial refrigeration technicians, tools, diagnostic and recovery equipment, transportation, routine consumables, quality control, and required installation training. Corrective repairs requiring parts, significant component replacement, or additional refrigerant may be performed only after written Government authorization under the Repair CLIN. The contractor must provide individual service records, deficiency reports and itemized repair estimates, a consolidated equipment status report, and a final reconciled inventory. Critical-failure notifications require acknowledgment within 30 minutes during service hours and on-site response within four hours when a technician is not already present.
