Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for two new prefabricated walk-in coolers for native-seed storage: one 8-by-20-foot cooler at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and one 8-by-10-foot cooler at New River Gorge National Park in Daniels, West Virginia. Each cooler must maintain 35–45°F and include insulated construction, refrigeration systems, thermostatic controls, lighting, doors, humidity control, freeze protection, and required safety and energy certifications or approved equivalents. The contractor must provide all equipment and materials; deliver, offload, position, connect utilities, start up, test, and train government personnel. The quote must include manufacturer product data and installation requirements, a completed quote schedule, a technical/management approach of no more than 10 pages, past-performance information using the provided questionnaire, and key-personnel/subcontractor information of no more than 10 pages. Past-performance references should cover work completed within the past three years, and personnel must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience. The acquisition is a 100% small-business set-aside, with quotes evaluated on technical capability, past performance, and price.
