The 49th Force Support Squadron is seeking an outdoor commercial walk-in freezer for the Shifting Sands Dining Facility. The freezer must have interior dimensions of 10 feet by 16 feet by 8 feet 6 inches, a -10°F holding temperature, remote preassembled high-ambient refrigeration, 26-gauge G90 galvanized steel interior and exterior finishes, a standard floor, smooth aluminum flooring, a 34-inch by 78-inch door on a 10-foot wall, aluminum diamond-treadplate protection on the lower walls, floor, and door interior, LED lighting, and temperature monitoring. The contractor must provide installation, delivery and setup, unloading support, refrigeration piping or line-set work, startup and commissioning, and preferably site preparation including construction of a concrete slab. The condensing unit will be at least 60 feet from the freezer and requires three-phase power; base Civil Engineering will handle the electrical hookup. Freight/shipping and delivery/setup costs must be separately itemized. Delivery personnel may require base access and should preferably deliver during normal business hours.
