Humble Independent School District is soliciting electronic proposals for factory-new Traulsen RMC Series milk coolers or approved equivalents: 15 double-sided, eight-crate units comparable to model RMC34D4 and 8 double-sided, twelve-crate units comparable to model RMC49D4. Required features include stainless-steel construction, forced-air refrigeration using R-290 refrigerant, digital temperature controls, insulated locking doors, floor drains, adjustable four-inch casters, 115-volt single-phase power, and six-year parts-and-labor and seven-year compressor warranties. Vendors may propose equivalent products only with documentation showing equal or better functional, performance, quality, dimensional, technical, and warranty characteristics. The response must also price two sets of six-inch caster kits for the eight-crate units, six sets for the twelve-crate units, freight, and any additional costs. The vendor is responsible for delivery in original manufacturer packaging, advance delivery notification, inspection for shipping damage, removal of shipping materials, and provision of warranty, operating, and maintenance documentation. Installation, placement, electrical connection, and commissioning are excluded from the contract and will be performed by district technicians. Three to five school district or higher-education customer references are requested, and the solicitation includes required Form 1295 and Form W-9 submissions.
