Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 4,770 Air Force straight dress skirts. The skirts are women's service-dress outerwear associated with Federal Supply Class 8410 and must be manufactured using the specified Air Force poly/wool serge cloth, blue shade No. 1620. The contractor must provide all required materials except for government-controlled cloth purchased from the Government under the resulting contract, and must submit a complete listing of all cut-and-sew places of performance, suppliers, and manufacturers. The acquisition is a total small business set-aside and will be evaluated on technical merit and price, with technical merit significantly more important than price. Technical evaluation includes the offeror's Supplier Performance Risk System scores for FSC 8410 and overall performance, as well as production methods and quality-control procedures. A pre-production sample will be requested after award. Quotations must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System, and the resulting supplies are to be delivered FOB destination to the specified Austin, Texas destination.
