Description
Cornell University is soliciting bids for a one-time purchase of kitchen equipment for the renovation of King-Shaw Hall in Ithaca, New York. The equipment schedule includes reach-in and roll-in refrigerators and freezers, worktables and sinks, shelving, coffee brewers and dispensers, water-filtration systems, combi and convection ovens, heated cabinets, a ventless door-type dishwasher, ice equipment, refrigerated and non-refrigerated display cases, espresso and cold-brew equipment, blenders, rapid-cook ovens, a toaster, microwave, and waste, compost, and recycling containers. Several items are custom-fabricated or coordinated with millwork, while certain POS, kiosk, existing, and millwork items are expressly excluded from the foodservice equipment contract. Pricing must be provided against the attached specifications, with equivalent-or-equal alternatives identified by manufacturer and model. The response must include the supplier's quote, pricing certification, warranty and service information, required business-profile and product information, the completed Authorized IFB Submission Form, and the required State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k disclosure and certification form. The solicitation also includes an escalation/de-escalation clause permitting documented tariff- or natural-disaster-related price adjustments exceeding 10%, subject to Cornell's approval and audit requirements.
