Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service requires one fully integrated refrigerated trailer to support carcass lifting, hanging, dressing, cooling, storage, disease and tissue sampling, transportation, and carcass storage. The requested Polar King DT822T, or equal, must include a seamless one-piece fiberglass body, 26-foot deck, overall length of 34 to 35 feet, urethane insulation, temperature control from 15 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit, R-454A refrigerant, a generator, reinforced flooring, meat rails and trolleys, an electric winch, drains, lighting, doors, outlets, and related accessories. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside and is expected to result in one firm-fixed-price purchase order. Quotations must price all line items and include descriptive literature or other documentation demonstrating that any equal product meets the stated salient characteristics. The product must be new, unused, and genuine original-equipment-manufacturer equipment, with delivery required within 140 days after award. Evaluation will consider price, technical acceptability, and past performance under a lowest-price-technically-acceptable approach.
