Description
The U.S. Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission requires one new air-operated tire changer for changing tires on equipment ranging from lawn mowers and utility vehicles to pickup trucks. The machine must operate on a 110–175 psi air supply; handle alloy and steel car and light-truck tires; include a four-clamp air-cylinder wheel-clamping system, swing-away or tilt-back mount/demount mechanism with an automatic safety device, bead loosener, run-flat tire assistance device, tire inflator, 0–60 psi tire-inflation gauge, 0–300 psi air-supply gauge, and a 1.5 HP air motor. It must accommodate tires up to 44–50 inches in diameter, external rim diameters from 9 to 30 inches or more, and rims up to 16 inches wide or more, with minimum dimensions of 53 inches wide by 68 inches deep by 88 inches high and a ship weight of at least 1,510 pounds. The quoted item must meet or exceed the salient features of the attached specifications, which reference the Coats Maxx 50 Air Rim-Clamp Tire Changer. The offer must include product specification sheets, warranty information, an active Unique Entity ID, and the completed CLIN structure. The purchase is for a firm-fixed-price award to the lowest-priced technically acceptable and responsible offeror; the minimum warranty requirements are three years for parts and six months for labor.
