Description
The City of Edinburg is seeking bids for a 12-month supply of water and wastewater treatment chemicals. Required products include NSF chlorine in ton and 150-pound cylinders; liquid aluminum sulfate, polymer, and copper sulfate blend; liquid ammonium sulfate; sodium chlorite; bulk large-crystal copper sulfate; and belt filter press polymers for the water and wastewater treatment plants. Products must meet applicable TCEQ requirements and ANSI/NSF Standard 60, with certifications and safety data sheets submitted as required. The scope also includes a chlorine dioxide service contract using on-site generation equipment, two generator units with emergency backup capability, sodium chlorite supply, storage tanks, installation, maintenance, testing, operator training, emergency response, and related analytical services. Bidders must provide pricing, delivery and emergency-response information, an emergency response plan, qualifications and references, required disclosures and questionnaires, insurance documentation, and other specified technical certifications. Responses may be submitted electronically through the designated portal or by sealed hard copy, and the solicitation permits awards by individual item or combination of items.
