Description
The City of Laredo is seeking proposals for medium- and heavy-duty truck original equipment manufacturer parts. The solicitation is divided into six vehicle-make sections: Peterbilt, Freightliner, International, Mack, GMC/Chevrolet, and Kenworth. Respondents must provide percentage discounts for the applicable OEM parts and state their expected delivery turnaround time. The proposal requires company and qualification information, including experience supplying OEM parts to organizations with fleets of at least 50 vehicles and prior-contract references. The solicitation also requires completion of the City’s proposal questionnaire and specified ethics, disclosure, and certification forms. The contract may be awarded by section to up to two top-scoring vendors per section, and the City describes the procurement as an annual service contract with quantities based on future need.
