Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from vendors offering percentage discounts from catalog prices for athletic and physical education supplies and equipment. The district intends to award to multiple suppliers and will issue purchase orders as supplies are needed; no annual volume is guaranteed, although initial-year purchases are estimated at approximately $900,000. Discounts must include shipping charges. Vendors must have the experience, qualifications, inventory, and facilities to support district-wide delivery. Supplies must be delivered free of charge to individual campuses and departments during normal working hours, with delivery times stated in the proposal. Vendors must invoice each purchase order separately, provide catalog or website access for ordering, and comply with the district’s purchase-order, pricing, delivery, packaging, invoicing, and product-substitution requirements. The district may cancel the contract with 30 days’ notice and may renew it for one additional year by mutual agreement.
