Description
This combined synopsis/solicitation requests a quotation for one prefabricated metal equipment shed at Moore Air Base. The shed must be approximately 84 feet long, 28 feet deep, and 13 feet high at the lowest point, with seven 12-foot bays, three enclosed sides, heavy-duty tan metal siding, a galvalume roof with at least a 1/12 slope, enclosed gutters, and downspouts. The work also includes 16 concrete footings and a covered connection of approximately 300 square feet to an existing shed. The contractor must provide and install the shed, submit a concept drawing before ordering the shed kit, and provide sealed as-built shop drawings from a Texas structural engineer, including connections to the concrete flight line. The work must comply with applicable codes and environmental requirements, use new materials, and be completed within 120 days after notice to proceed. Performance and payment bonds are required at 100 percent of the original contract award price, but are due after award. The quotation package must include pricing, a written technical approach, three similar projects, the completed Schedule of Items, a signed SF-1442, and a signed SF-30 if applicable.
