Description
Brunswick County is soliciting proposals for lawn and landscape maintenance at 30 Public Utilities locations throughout the county. Services include mowing, weed eating, trimming around infrastructure, edging, blowing off sidewalks and walkways, litter and debris removal, and removal of weeds or grass from flower beds. Flower bed preparation, including debris removal, raking, pruning, and mulching, will be performed at specified intervals or upon request. Locations are to be maintained once every two weeks or twice monthly from April through October, with as-needed service during other months. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, and resources; complete each maintenance cycle continuously at each location; maintain vegetation at a maximum height of four inches; and comply with applicable requirements for herbicide use, including obtaining required licenses and certifications. The proposal must include a cover letter, company and personnel information, subcontractor information, the completed Form of Proposal, a detailed service and implementation plan, company history, references, a Certificate of Insurance, and itemized lump-sum pricing by location and cut.
