Description
The City of Meridian is prequalifying licensed general contractors for construction of Test Well 11-B. The selected contractor will furnish labor, materials, equipment, and personnel to mobilize to the site; drill an approximately 24-inch surface borehole and an approximately 850-foot pilot borehole; install surface casing and multiple PVC monitoring wells; perform geophysical logging, reaming, well development, disinfection, and one-week simultaneous test pumping; install filter packs, well seals, pumps, and a weatherproof well cover; and complete site cleanup and demobilization. Respondents must demonstrate Idaho licensing, well-drilling experience, similar nested test-well experience, qualified project and drilling personnel, suitable equipment, project history, and satisfactory references. The prequalification submission includes a letter of introduction, Forms I through V, an equipment list, and reference questionnaires returned directly to the City by the respondents' customers. Only contractors approved through this process will be invited to bid on the subsequent construction project.
