Description
The County of Kaua'i Department of Water is soliciting statements of qualifications and expressions of interest for professional services associated with the remaining construction-phase work for Kapa'a Homesteads Well No. 4. The selected contractor will oversee the pump test, including water sampling and data logging; prepare a Pump Test Report summarizing results and recommendations for the capacity and depth of the permanent pump; and prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report for submission to the Department of Health for approval. Submissions must be statements of qualifications no longer than 10 pages, using a minimum 12-point font. They must identify the firm's professional-services areas, firm qualifications, relevant experience, key personnel, client references, and comparable projects. Use of Federal Form SF 330 or State Form DPW 120 with supplemental information is encouraged. The opportunity requires professional engineering services licensed under Hawai'i Revised Statute §464, and the solicitation incorporates the Department of Water's professional-services general terms and insurance requirements.
