The City of Dayton is soliciting bids for as-needed industrial electrical cleaning services at its Water Reclamation Facility and associated sanitary pump stations. The work includes removing dust, dirt, debris, and other contaminants from electrical rooms, motor control centers, switchgear, substations, control panels, electrical enclosures, cable trays, process buildings, pump stations, and related mechanical and electrical areas. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, personal protective equipment, and access equipment. Cleaning must use methods suitable for energized and de-energized electrical environments, including HEPA-filtered or explosion-proof vacuums where applicable, low-moisture or dry methods, anti-static materials, non-conductive tools, and lint-free materials. Contractors must demonstrate at least five years of comparable industrial electrical cleaning experience, experience around medium-voltage equipment, qualified personnel, and at least three comparable references. The contract provides firm pricing through September 30, 2027, with three additional 12-month renewal options at the City's discretion.
