Description
The Idaho Division of Military is seeking design professional services for repairs and renovations to Bldg. 557 at Gowen Field. The project aims to improve operational readiness and extend the facility's usable life. Key work items include repairing approximately 9600 sq ft of formed metal roofing, gutters, and downspouts. Existing HVAC systems, including furnaces, exhaust fans, and rooftop units, along with associated ductwork and electrical components, will be repaired. The existing vault will be upgraded to current security standards. Interior repairs will encompass new carpet tile, LED lighting, ceiling tile and grid, doors, and painting and patching throughout classrooms, administrative spaces, and the drill hall. This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for design professional services. The construction portion will be bid separately in a traditional design-bid-build manner. As-built drawings of Building 557 are available upon direct request from the DPW Project Manager.
