Description
Idaho County, Idaho, intends to make a sole source procurement for emergency communications and dispatch equipment, integration, and related services required for the County's new jail and dispatch relocation project. This procurement is being made under Idaho Code §67-2808. The County has determined that Valence Mission Critical Technologies, Spokane Valley, Washington, is the only vendor reasonably available to provide these essential services. This determination is based on the paramount consideration of compatibility with the County's existing Zetron radio dispatch consoles, base stations, recording, and timing systems. The County has stated that there is no functional equivalent and that competitive solicitation is impractical under the circumstances. Any vendor who believes it can provide the described equipment and services may submit written notice to the Idaho County Clerk, 320 W. Main Street, Room 5, Grangeville, Idaho 83530, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of this notice. The County will award the contract no sooner than fourteen (14) calendar days after publication of this notice.
